First Student manages transportation for Andover Public Schools. Our transportation department is responsible for transporting more than 3,200 students to school each day, safely and on time. More than 40 buses travel 1,300 total miles each day to serve our students.

Transportation is provided free of charge for students living 2.5 miles or more away from their school. In-district students living closer than 2.5 miles from their school can pay for transportation at a rate of $250 per student, with a maximum charge of $750 per family per year. Please pay transportation fees online, at your child's school, or at District Office, 1432 N. Andover Road.

Please note that no transportation is available for out-of-district students who are accepted to attend our schools. Also, pickup and drop-off locations must be in the same school attendance zone as the student's school. If a student is dropped off at a daycare and the daycare is closed for that particular day, parents will still need to pick up their child at that address.

If you have any questions in regard to student transportation or address verification, please contact us at 316-247-1926.
