The Martin Elementary Library Birthday Book Club is back and ready for your orders from now through September 30th!
The Birthday Book Club is an opportunity to celebrate your child’s birthday in a special way AND help our school library collection continue to grow and stay updated.
We are utilizing Bound to Stay Bound (BTSB), a book publisher, that has an online program to help us order and facilitate the birthday book donations.
At the BTSB website, you will find a wish list of books that have been curated by Mrs. Williams, Martin’s Librarian, to meet the needs and wants of our school community. You will choose a book from the wish list you would like to donate to the school as a birthday book. You will pay for the book through the BTSB website. These book are quality, library bound editions and will be shipped directly to our school library. There’s even an option to add a personalized donor plate that will be put inside the book.
When the books arrive at our school, the inside front cover of the book will have the child’s name written on a bookplate and their picture (if allowed). The birthday child also has the honor of being the first to check out the new book.
